Is there any possible way to type comfortably at a desk with a cat in your lap?

Has anyone ever devised a way to type at a desk with a cat on your lap?  With both you and the cat comfortable, and no disruption in the use of the keyboard or mouse?  Is there an invention, a solution to this age-old problem...a special chair, a special desk, some kind of apparatus...any idea?
